Job Description
#LI-FN1
Do you love building a trusting, collaborative and well-functioning team? As well as setting a direction and ensuring we develop the right skills to be able to deliver on our strategic ambitions?
As a People Leader for one of our IT Asset Management teams, you will be leading a phenomenal team of 7 specialists supporting four technical product teams, who are responsible for hardware and network in the Infrastructure area.
Core Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities in this role include:
Setting a direction together with your leadership colleague and ensure everyone in the team knows what they’re encouraged to prioritize and deliver on. This could be, maturing our Asset lifecycle and connected data points, supporting budget and forecasting processes proactively, optimizing and automating our processes etc.
Operational and strategic people leader responsibilities. Examples of these: mid-year and year-end feedback dialogues, regular 1:1 dialogue, recruitment and onboarding activities, learning and development initiatives, operationalizing the team strategy, facilitating workshops and meetings, and more.
Coaching and advising your team to ensure continuous competency building and focus. Ensure we deliver value and impact according to our strategic ambitions.
Being a go-to-person on IT Asset Management related matters, financial processes and encouraging a product-led and TCO-led team.
Being a procurement approver of various IT Assets through our procurement system, COUPA, as well as some invoices.
Being an ambassador of the Tech Ops community across the LEGO Group to ensure knowledge sharing and takeaways across.
As an integral part of this role, you will Liaise with various collaborators. These are for instance the Engineering Directors and Lead Engineers of the product teams we support. Additionally, you will also become part of our leadership team and be an invaluable contributing member.
Play your part in our team succeeding
You will be heading up a fairly settled team. However, this is a new team setup as we’ve been fortunate to grow the team over the past 1½ years. We’re therefor splitting the team in two. This is where you will play a key role, as you would be heading up one of the two teams to ensure that we as people leaders can be close to the teams and collaborators.
Our group is characterized by having an open, collaborative, easy-going, and fun atmosphere. We are a diverse group of people who have a high degree of professionalism, and we always strive to deliver high quality results, but we also love to send GIF’s, crack jokes and drink coffee at the Barista. Spoiler: We have three baristas at LEGO Campus and coffee is free!
Do you have what it takes?
You could come from various educational backgrounds, like Procurement, Purchasing, Finance, IT, HR, or the like. It is of course an advantage if you have experience with IT Asset Management but it’s not a prerequisite. We do, however, expect that you have solid knowledge of IT, digital processes and ways of working, like the agile methodology.
Moreover, you are an empathetic people leader, who is curious and aspires to use your expert knowledge or learn and understand the intersection between Procurement, Finance, and IT. You love motivating and moving people to be their best possible version, you love optimizing processes and ways of working, you have a structured approach, and have a focus on delivering results through others, thus having an empowering and inclusive leadership style.
As our corporate language is English, this is a prerequisite.
What’s in it for you?
