Are you looking for an opportunity to learn and grow within the Digital space of The LEGO Group?
We are looking for an Associate Engineer to join our team, focusing on our recently introduced Workday platform that manages HR (Human Resources) processes for 40 countries worldwide. To ensure your success, we will provide comprehensive, on-the-job training on the Workday platform, along with Recruitment and Talent procedures.
Core Responsibilities
In this role, you will work in the product engineering team, so you can support the team in meeting our partners needs.
This is a multifaceted role, which will include (but is not limited to!) the following responsibilities:
- Configure Workday within the areas of Learning, Talent and Performance, Goal Setting, Recruitment and Onboarding while considering how this configuration impacts the technological landscape end-to-end
- This could be setting up the onboarding process as per global requirements
- Ensure the right quality by detailing and testing your configurations before releasing in close collaboration with your colleagues and business partners
- Apply internal and external communities to get recommendations to problem solving and to understand future possibilities and features of our solutions
- Investigate and fix of errors reported by the users
- Collaborate with your team and the team’s partners to ensure the best solutions to businesses challenges

As an Associate Engineer you will be part of a new and evolving, digital product team called Talent Acquisition and Development. The team's mission is to enable streamlined, outstanding recruitment, onboarding, and development of talent at the LEGO Group.
The team consists of experienced engineers who are ready to help you grow your digital skills, and you will get a Brickmate (buddy) who will be your go-to person.
Together with the team and business colleagues, the Associate Engineer will support the team's mission by delivering and maintaining configuration mainly within Workday. The product team also applies other platforms to acquire business value. We are looking for someone who would be curious to acquire knowledge within these platforms as well.
Do you have what it takes?
- Whether you are newly educated or have a couple of years of experience is not important. The important thing is having the right learning approach and passion to grow and to work within IT
- Knowledge about business processes, and how business and IT work together
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Systematic approach – high on structure and detail
- Proactive and dedicated
- Teammate and knowledge about agile ways of working
- AP Degree, bachelor's degree in IT and communication, information science, computer science or the like
- Programming skills would be a plus, but not required
Advanced English both written and verbal would be ideal as we are an internationally gathered team.
