The Digital Security team is responsible for raising the bar on cyber security. Operating as a centre of excellence, we work closely with teams across the whole Digital Technology organization to ensure that cyber security risks are identified and managed.
The LEGO Group is looking for a Head of Engineering to help grow Digital Security, based in Denmark.
The Head of Engineering is a crucial member of the Digital Security leadership team, ensuring that we have strong engineering practices at the heart of our operations. We are transforming our digital foundations and security is a critical capability!
This is a permanent full-time position based in Denmark. Our offices are in Billund, the traditional home of the LEGO Group, and Copenhagen.
Core Responsibilities
Lead and develop the engineering team in Digital Security to implement, operate and develop the technical capabilities needed to manage cyber security in the LEGO Group.
Hire, support and develop great security engineering talent and create the environment for them to build an exciting career.
Own and maintain the technology strategy and roadmap for Digital Security, covering emerging, current and sunsetting technologies.
Engage with technology leaders across other parts of IT to ensure that required integrations are supported and working.
Contribute to the overall cyber security strategy of the LEGO Group as a member of the security leadership team
Educational, Certifications, or Licenses
Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum Candidate Qualifications
Experience managing people and building an engineering culture
Experience implementing effective engineering practices
Curious about emerging engineering trends and practices
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Track record of delivery
Excellent oral and written communicator
Nice to have
Interest in cyber security
Experience of developing security tools and automating processes
Comfortable with python, PowerShell or JS
Experience working with common enterprise security tools
Experience working with CI/CD and infrastructure as code
Experience of digital transformation programs
