Job Description

Are you ready to help build the foundations in one of the highest impact products in the B2B area of the LEGO Group?

We are looking for two backend/full-stack engineers to work for the B2B Customer Order Capture & Management product team. On this team, you’ll be working alongside a product manager, an engineering lead and several other engineers.

Core Responsibilities

You will collaborate with the product organization and engineers to develop mostly backend-focused services:

  • Use your extensive software engineering experience to guide the team when architecting and implementing solutions and choosing technologies
  • Act as a day-to-day mentor for other developers on the team and help ensure that the team shows healthy software engineering practices such as code reviews, clean code, suitable test coverage, secure coding among other things
  • Build application services based on Kubernetes hosted on AWS using Node.js, TypeScript, Express, Jest and other technologies that you help choose
  • Build cloud infrastructure using IaC
  • Build CI/CD workflows using GitHub and GitHub Actions

Play your part in our team succeeding

You will join a growing product team supporting the order processes for the LEGO Group’s B2B customers. Together with the team you will be responsible for developing and running the cloud infrastructure, application services and automation needed for implementing the LEGO Group’s future EDI platform and B2B order related APIs.

You will also be part of the bigger Partner & Markets area that is responsible for a broader range of solutions facing our partners and the LEGO® sales organization. We are organized in autonomous product teams working agile with end-to-end responsibility for our products, and we work together with the teams that drive the Business to Business strategy and its execution for the LEGO Group

The team is based at the brand-new LEGO Campus in Billund, offering an exciting, inspiring, and flexible work environment.

Do you have what it takes?

The preferred candidate has several years of experience in software engineering using cloud technologies and modern scalable/resilient solutions. Familiarity working in an agile setup is encouraged.

To succeed in this role, you ideally already have experience within some of the following:

  • Strong curiosity about developing and encouraging others.
  • Shown eagerness to continuous learning through your previous experiences.
  • Dare to speak up and learn from the failures.
  • Grow with both experimentations and the long haul.
  • Experience leading engineering initiatives.

Advanced English both written and verbally is a need since we are an international gathered team.
