Core Responsibilities

As a Lead IT Asset Manager, you will work closely with our hardware asset management team and network equipment area to enable detailed asset management and guide the strategy development. In this role, you will:

  • Set directions for Asset Management for hardware and network in collaboration with the teams.
  • Help the teams to remove roadblocks; empower and facilitate change initiatives towards more automated and data driven operations
  • Define, operate, optimize, and automate DNS and certificate management and policies to keep costs down and provide fast, reliable, and high-quality services to our global colleagues.
  • Support and encourage colleagues on domain and certificate processes and policies and provide a transparent overview of costs and help to optimize the associated Total Cost of Ownership.

Play your part in our team succeeding

You will join our FinTechOps department which currently consists of 13 passionate colleagues working with AM, procurement, finance and vendor management. We work across various product teams in our infrastructure area, covering network, cloud, hardware, software licenses and finance.

You will be the primary Tech Ops Specialist working with our Network Namespace Management product team while also taking a lead role primarily relating to both network and hardware when it comes to asset management. Namespace Management is a new team where you will get a lot of autonomy and responsibility while still having colleagues to bounce off ideas with and share knowledge with.

Do you have what it takes?

Apart from coming with a lead background. You could come with multiple additions to our team, most important for us is that you:

  • Have significant experience with IT Asset Management.
  • Have experience crafting structured processes and have an eye for optimizing processes whenever possible.
  • Strive to take a data-driven and automation approach, so we make informed decisions and reduce manual processes.
  • Enjoy working with data visualizations.
  • Have some experience working within the field of procurement and financial processes. It is an advantage if you have worked with network, DNS or certificates.
  • Want to be a trusted advisor who strives to ensure we get the most out of our IT Investments, by advising on ways to optimize vendor relations and cost spending.
  • Are technically skilled or technically curious and have a can-do approach to your tasks and ways of working.
  • Enjoy setting direction, look ahead and continuously set the department up for success while enabling smooth daily operations.

As a person, you’re a cool communicator who can work with all types of people at any level or function. You know how to ensure governance in a collaborate way, you can communicate pros and cons of various approaches as well as influence and convince people when needed. Being part of a team and collaborative setting is something that energizes you.

Moreover, you are:

  • Responsible, lead, take ownership, and follow tasks and projects through.
  • Proficient in English both written and verbally.
  • Familiarity with Excel, PowerBI, or other data-related tools is a plus.
  • Service-minded and an outstanding teammate.
