Are you skilled and passionate about Data Quality? We are looking to strengthen our Data Governance team with a Data Quality expert to drive Data Quality Management across the LEGO Group.

Core Responsibilities

You will drive the implementation and execution of Data Quality Management across data areas and support them in improving data quality and increase trust in data. And you will lead the development, maintenance, and implementation of concepts, guidelines, tools, and training for Data Quality Management! In addition, you will:

  • Prepare and facilitate data quality workshops and meetings across data areas

  • Proactively support the organization in analyzing and profiling current state of data, identify and track data quality issues and identify possible areas for improvement

  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards to visualize and report on data quality at all organizational levels of the organization

  • Collaborate with colleagues in Data Office on technology, architecture, and processes to ensure Data Quality Management is aligned and integrated with other areas

  • Champion, elevate, and promote Data Quality and trusted data across all levels of the organization

Data Governance is a team within the Data Office. Our purpose is to build trust in and unlock the value from data by driving Data Governance across the LEGO Group.

Do you have what it takes?

You come with experience as a Data Quality expert in an international context. You have a hands-on track-record of delivering development, implementation, and execution of Data Quality Management in a complex data landscape with multiple types of data. You are skilled in developing and maintaining data quality reports and dashboards (preferably in Power BI) to different organizational groups and supporting the organization with data quality analysis, profiling, duplicate checks, outlier detection etc. Furthermore, you have solid business understanding with knowledge of how data quality, data lifecycle processes etc. impacts business performance in large complex organizations. In addition, you have:

  • The ability to build relationships, manage business partners and navigate at all levels of the organization from senior management to specialists

  • Understanding of IT- and Data architecture to be able to collaborate with IT Architects, Data Engineers etc. on technical aspects

  • Skills in preparing, facilitating, and driving workshops, meetings, and training sessions with people across various levels of the organization

  • Deep understanding of frameworks, best practice, tools, and technology for Data Quality Management and how to develop and implement them
