Are you the new Global Insights Manager for the LEGO Group?

Do you love to dive into consumer research data to build and drive data understanding and enabling in an increasingly expanding Adult consumer group? Do you possess a holistic and creative mindset to add value to the business through synthesizing key insights across various data sets? The LEGO Group is creating a new position as part of the exiting journey in Global Insights. You will be the first with the opportunity to work across different data platform teams to benefit research and development at the LEGO Group.

Core Responsibilities

As the new Global Insight Manager, you will be a part of the Global Insights (GI) Data Platforms Team that interfaces across the GI organization with insights, data, and analytics to drive decision making. More specifically you will:

  • Lead Adults Consumer Group data and insight aggregation, synthesis, and sensemaking

  • Be connected to key business issues and opportunities, connect dots across multiple data and insight sources to root cause analyses, and produce relevant, ownable insights

  • Along with researchers in the GI center of excellence team, collaborate with the GI Business Partner team to enable and support business narratives and insight deliveries for the Adults PG team.

  • Work directly with Data Platform leads on BEAT, CGT, NPS, and NPD to extract relevant data and insights

  • Be an active member and contributor to the Data Platform team mandate and vision.

Global Insights is on an exciting journey as we have changed to a new structure comprised of 3 important teams: Business Partnering, Centers of Excellence, and Enablers. This Manager role sits within the Enablers team – specifically within Data Platforms. The Data Platforms team drives consumer and shopper focused data and insight platforms such as BEAT, NPS, NPD, and CGT – all of which are data platforms that influence ongoing performance evaluation and actioning as well as 2 Global KPIs (Active Consumer Base and NPS). As such, this team has influence on every employee at The LEGO Group.

Do you have what it takes?

You are the candidate for the position as a GI Manager if you thrive and contribute well both in teams and as an individual contributor. You are self-motivated and thrive within ambiguity. Furthermore, you are flexible and deal well with different profiles ranging from analysts to marketeers. Besides, the following is expected of you to have:

  • Master’s Degree preferred - coupled with international mindset and relevant experience.

  • 6-8+ experience in a business environment

  • Competent in Microsoft Office and Power BI

  • Proven experience in managing data and synthesizing key insights across multiple data sets

  • Excellent communicator and influencer, with experience in creating strategic impact via synthesized and holistic storytelling

  • Has worked frequently in team environments and is a natural collaborator

  • Advanced level English
