Core Responsibilities

Product & UX Leadership

  • Responsible for defining portfolio objectives and benchmarking key results for the user experience across the division.
  • Drive a product-led agenda and ways of working in collaboration with engineering teams and product managers
  • Help and ensure teams become user centric and support building a feedback culture within product teams
  • Develop medium to long term high-level vision and strategy. Set the technical direction within your capability area and ensure its adoption
  • Drive pivotal initiatives across subdomains and take a broad approach to Product management and UX design in the specific domain
  • Define & communicate the problem space and construct the problem or opportunity statement

Impact and influence

  • Member of the Infrastructure leadership team and actively support the development of annual portfolio objectives and key results to help the division focus on strategic priorities
  • Co-leads on product team / partner collaboration throughout all stages of work together with product managers and engineering leads
  • Organizes and run activities to foster a motivated, brave, and curious capability group with a strong focus on craftmanship and performance.
  • Leads, recruit and retain a world class team of Product Managers and UX professionals for Infrastructure, supporting their development, managing performance, and creating the right culture to empower them and provide them with psychological safety to fail and learn.
  • Takes on a coaching and mentoring role in relation to the Product managers and UX researchers.

Your role is to lead a team of Product managers and UX professionals in the Infrastructure domain. Your team plays a meaningful role in development and adoption of services the LEGO workforce applies in their everyday work.

Do you have what it takes?

  • You have 5+ years of practical experience as product manager and broad knowledge of the UX design field
  • You have experience leading teams in a technical environment
  • You have technical knowledge within the competency areas and preferable high-level knowledge of broader engineering fields
  • You can develop capabilities in the product management and UX areas by defining and mastering professional standards and work methodologies and training competency resources
  • You excel in working with partners on different levels from engineer to senior leadership levels/executive leadership
  • You have strong communication skills with comfort speaking with business and technical partners, tailoring the messages and ensure support by relevant data
  • You foster a collaborative environment for teams and individuals enabling them to release their full potential
  • You are a strong problem solver with growth and learning mentality, collaborator, and inclusive leader
  • Self-reliant and able to support peers, without the need of elaborate support
