This is your unique opportunity to join the LEGO® Group and help build and grow the enterprise Design System!

As our new digital designer, you will closely collaborate with the design lead to define, produce, and govern styles, components, and documentation for our colleague and partner applications.

Core Responsibilities

•Design and document components and interaction patterns across web and mobile platforms.
•Maintain robust and usable Figma components libraries, from foundational elements to more complex components.
•Collaborate closely with team members, designers and engineers, to ensure components are implemented effectively.
•Actively engage and collaborate with the design community (our customers) to ensure a consistent and cohesive experience across digital products.
•Set up knowledge-sharing processes that promote collaboration, pairing, and training.
•Apply research methods to assess the efficacy of the system and understand customer needs.
•Take part in defining and building a LEGO-wide design tokens' foundational layer in close collaboration with Brand and a cross-domain workgroup.

Play your part in our team succeeding

As a member of the design system team, you will support the development of the visual direction for internal, enterprise applications to further our brand promise to our colleagues and partners. And you will play a key role in establishing a shared way of efficiently designing and building coherent and on-brand user experiences across the digital organization—from exploring and reviewing ideas to building on top of an extensive component library and documenting design patterns and helping other product designers to succeed.

If you like helping other product designers succeed more than your own success and have a desire to be part of a design system's team that is on a journey - then this is your chance!

Do you have what it takes?

The right candidate for this role is a systems thinker who thinks holistically and can translate complex problems and processes into simple and intuitive user experiences and brings:

•Several years of broad experience within the digital design domain.
•A portfolio that proves UI and visual design experience and showcases great interaction and problem-solving skills.
•A deep knowledge of common interaction patterns and information architecture.
•Experience in developing, contributing, and consuming a robust and usable Figma components library.
•Familiar with platform conventions on web, iOS, and Android as well as understanding when to break them.
•Outstanding communication skills including the ability to work closely with other designers, engineers, and product managers.
•Advocate for accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
•Able to be in the Billund office 3 days a week.
