Core responsibilities

As an Associate Tech Ops Specialist, you will join our Software Asset Management team and take part in an exciting transformation as we are ramping up on our tools and aim to create more automatized, coherent and seamless processes for our colleagues and partners globally. You will help us grow in relation to vendor processes, financial processes, and customer experience.
As part of this role, you will:
• Drive and support procurement processes of various software products.
• Look for ways to optimize our Software Asset Management lifecycle and think of how to automize manual processes as much as possible.
• Communicate and coordinate with vendors and colleagues globally.
• Work directly with vendors and resellers.
• Facilitate sprint meetings with your team members.
• Provide support and advice on vendor and cost optimization.

You will join our FinTechOps team which currently consists of 12 colleagues. We work across various product teams in our infrastructure area, covering network, cloud, hardware- and software asset management.
We are 5 colleagues working within Software Asset Management and one Lead Engineer. The atmosphere is very informal, relaxed and humorous and we would love it if you could also make us laugh as well as impress us with your proactivity, change-resilience, and courage to jump into the task at hand. You will become an equal and valuable part of our team.

Complete our team by bringing:

You could come from multiple backgrounds, e.g. IT, Procurement, Finance, Economics or the like, and have ended up in working with IT or Software Asset Management through various career paths.
The most important for us is that you:
1. have some experience working within the field of procurement and financial processes. It is an advantage if you have worked with Software Asset Management specifically.
2. are customer focused and collaborate well with people across different functions and levels.
3. can create structured processes and have an eye for optimizing processes whenever possible.
4. want to be a trusted advisor who aims to ensure we get the most out of our Software Investments, by sparring on ways to optimize vendor relations and cost spending.
5. are curious and have a can-do approach to your tasks and ways of working.
6. aim to take a data-driven and automation approach, so we make informed decisions and reduce manual processes.
Moreover, you are:
• thorough, responsible and follow tasks and projects through.
• fluent in English both written and verbally.
• in flow when you get to take ownership of tasks and projects.
• not unfamiliar or afraid to work with Excel, PowerBI or other data-related tools.
As a person, you’re a cool communicator who can work with all types of people at any level or function. You know how to ensure governance in a collaborate way, you can communicate pros and cons of various approaches as well as influence and convince people when needed. Thus, being part of a team and collaborative setting is something that energizes you.
