Core Responsibilities

As an Agile Coach Competency Lead, you will coach & mentor leaders, teams and team members formally and informally, striving to unlock the potential in everyone. You will be a defender of Agility as a core principle, interpreted as delivering value early and often, continuously optimizing delivery flows, and improving delivery quality with short iterations and fast feedback. In addition, you will:
• Have regular check-in with the current team members to support the growth and personal development.
• Embrace complexity and make it a competitive advantage, together with driving the end-user focus and value creation.
• Cultivate a culture of experimentation, learning and fast adaptation, and champion human centered design philosophy both internally and externally.
• Lead and mentor on transformational activity and behavior to unlock the potential of the organisation structure, ways of working and mentality.

The role of the Data Office is to drive value from data across the LEGO Group. Our team builds and runs our central Data Platform, and is a center of excellence for data science, machine learning and artificial intelligence.
We have a strong ambition to become a truly data-driven company and our agile coaches will play an essential role in making this happen. You will head up a team of agile coaches supporting our Data Office product teams in their journey to become successful and thriving agile teams. Furthermore, you will be part of a large community of agile coaches in our company.

Do you have what it takes?

Ideally, we would like to see you having few years of experience in agile ways of working e.g. as a Scrum Master or as Agile Coach. Moreover, you have demonstrated leadership experience either directly or indirectly. Furthermore, you have:
• Deep knowledge of Agile principles and the flexibility to adapt your experience to new and evolving environments
• Passion for what agile principles mean for leadership and how to help leaders integrate these thoughts into their behaviors.
• Experience coaching or working in multi-functional product teams
• Natural flair for facilitating dialogue, establishing team trust and driving change.
• Excellent communicator with excellent social skills, speaking candidly but with respect.
• Comfortable with healthy friction and value adding conflicts.
• Business proficient in English (written and verbally)
