Core Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Application Development teams and Product Development department to deliver good physical and digital build and play experiences
• Together with cross-functional product team, create identify and mature platform components for use and reuse in both internal and user-facing applications
• Work in a multi-functional product team, collaborating across the full value-chain in software & product development
• Ensure world-class quality and the strong LEGO® values that consumers expect from our brand

In Billund lies our Creative Play Lab team. They are dedicated to developing digital, physical and electronic play components for use in LEGO® products, from apps to physical playsets and everything in between.
We work with an agile mindset to deliver seamlessly integrated digital play experiences in collaboration with the Product Development organization.
We develop software solutions for complete life cycle, using the newest technology with a dedicated focus on reusability and scalability in our digital platforms.

Bring your expertise to the Creative Play Lab and develop software solutions for the software platform used to create engaging digital play experience for all LEGO® users

Do you have what it takes?

A preferred candidate would have solid experience creating Unity3d applications for multiple platforms, including MacOS, iOS and Android, and can strike a balance between perfecting software and making rapid delivery

In addition, we expect that you:
• Have experience creating lightweight architectures and reusable components
• Are interested in device specific programming for iOS and Android
• Have ability to translate user stories and customer requirements into good software designs and solutions
• Have experience programming against hardware and firmware communication layer APIs
• Have advanced English skills both written and verbally
• As a person, you have an inclusive mindset, a natural desire to keep improving and optimizing both individually and as a team
• You are curios and have an interest in pair programming and mentorship
