As senior frontend engineer you will be part of the Consumer and Creator Technology organization within Digital Technology. Specifically, we are responsible for the digital experiences for the adult fans of LEGO® bricks.

We work with a modern tech stack. Our frontend applications are based on React and Next.js with either JavaScript or TypeScript and we apply a range of modern cloud technologies every day.

As a team, we are curious and continuously looking at ways to improve our product and how we collaborate. You will be a part of open and inclusive team discussions, where every voice is heard and valued.

Do you have what it takes?

The ideal Senior Frontend Engineer has a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar). A minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience in frontend software engineering:
• Experience with production-grade frontends. We use React, NextJS and similar today.
• Can do magic with CSS.
• Experience with security and privacy in web-based solutions.
• Experience with Design Prototyping tools. We use Figma.
• Experience with testing tooling. We use jest, testing-library, Storybook, Chromatic, Cypress, and SauceLabs.

In addition, you have:
• Experience with CSS Utility Frameworks. I.e., TailwindCSS.
• Experience with Web Core Vitals and performance monitoring.
• Experience implementing accessibility on websites.
• Experience with Instrumentation and observability platforms. We use Elastic.
• Working with modern software engineering tooling. We use GitHub, GitHub Actions and Artifactory, Jira, and Confluence.
As a person you are a team-oriented person who takes a natural interest in helping and coaching team members and help them grow their skills, sharing your experience and feedback.

Also, you:
• Are advanced in technical English, both written and verbally.
• Are an excellent communicator.
• Are pro-active and self-driven as a person.
