Core Responsibilities

The ideal candidate is dedicated and continuously ensures value creation in large technical programs across products and programs with high degree of complexity. You do this through own program manager actions and by supporting other Technical Project managers (TPMs) in their work while also ensuring personal development of these TPMs.
The leader delivers impact by taking a broader ownership of both own and others deliveries. This includes:
• Leadership of other Technical Program Managers.
• Leading implementation of large and/or complex initiatives across products within own domain or across domains.
• Bringing people together in meaningful ways that make goals clear and collaboration around creating new value easier.
• Coordinates and continuously optimizes a broad project/program portfolio with full transparency
• Contribution to the development of TPM-practice through own behavior and by actively engaging in the TPM community

You will be a part of the leadership team in the Technical Program Management Sub-domain within Infrastructure, providing secure, scalable and modern cloud & infrastructure services for our digital workforce through outcome focused program execution.
Within Infrastructure, you will be leading a team of Technical Project Managers from a competency perspective working closely with senior leadership including Lead Engineers, product teams, agile coaches and user experience researchers. You will act as a strategic partner role providing valuable sparring to one of our subdomain senior leaders orchestrating their pivotal initiatives.
Our strategic programs portfolio span from Cloud Strategy implementation, fueling an API based architecture or removal of technical dept. We have a number of exciting programs running, with global and strategic impact, helping the LEGO Group differentiate our digital consumer experience.

Do you have what it takes?

• 5-8 years of experience within technical program management preferable in an agile setup and minimum 3 years experience with a similar leadership role.
• Great leadership skills & experience with an inclusive mentality and inclination to active decision-making.
• Proven ability to lead successful large tech programs or projects, through roles in program management, project management, product ownership or similar in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to navigate complex technical programs with strong communication skills, always keeping your context and audience in mind.
• Financial and budgeting knowledge and preferable procurement and contract negotiations skills.
• Knowledge of application lifecycle management, software development methodology, technical architecture and engineering practices.
• Strong validated background with agile methodologies, always seeking to deliver continuously and avoiding the big bang.
