Core Responsibilities:


We (The Digital Portfolio & Delivery Office) have the core responsibility for strategic tools such as “Digital Dashboards” and the core processes in LEGO Digital. We are organized with reference to our Chief Digital Technology Officer and work closely with our corporate functions (Finance, HR, Strategy Office).
As our new associate Data Specialist, you will work with our current data specialist and have a joint responsibility for:
• Driving the adoption of the tools – this includes eg. evaluation of user feedback and turning this into improvement suggestions, facilitating our user fora and visiting our various user groups and DEMO the solutions.
• Deliver on ad-hoc analysis tasks, based on requests from users. Eg. Cross-referencing data to create additional insights to leadership teams or others who request it.
• Drive efforts related to mature Data Governance of our LEGO Digital Technology key data and metrics (ownership of data & metrics, definitions etc).
• Build and evolve the data model and frontend visualizations of the “Digital Dashboard” in Power BI.

We are on an exciting digital journey. As part of this, we are in our team building an “Enterprise Transparency” product/service to strengthen this capability within the Digital (IT) organization itself. Therefore, we are looking for a passionate Data Specialist/Analyst with strong Power BI knowledge and a passion for making our Digital Technology organization more data driven.
We are focusing on establishing central Dashboards with live insights on the progress of the Digital Transformation and with links to an ecosystem of additional tools for more local insights and details.

Do you have what it takes?


You have relevant background in business-related field, such as Business Intelligence / Engineering / information management / Analytics/Finance or equivalent working experience with strong track record. You take initiatives and drive tasks proactively. In addition, you are / have:
• Great teammate who are eager to spare and share knowledge.
• Comfortable with capturing and implementing report/dashboard requirements provided by senior business partners.
• Understanding of data architecture and tools.
• Thrives with interacting with others regardless individuals or groups and helping them extract value from data/Dashboards.
• Knowledge on Power BI functionalities such as Power query, Dataflow – or willingness to learn these.
• Lastly, it would be nice to have: Design and configuration of SharePoint based tools to evolve and adapt the frontend design together with process experts and the users.
