As Lead Engineer, your main responsibility is to deliver phenomenal value to our users, which are our colleagues across the LEGO group globally. Your approach to determining what to prioritize is user centric and involves feedback from our Colleagues. For the Software Enablement Product you hold the responsibility for global enablement of software deployment to all the LEGO groups devices (PC, Mac and Mobile).

Core Responsibilities


· Set the product vision & strategy
· Drives and own the backlog from which the team pull their tasks on a sprint basis
· Stay informed about strategic and emerging new technologies. Use opportunities for change as new players, technologies, and processes emerge in a rapidly changing industry
· Lead and empower a highly engaged team to ensure SW delivery for multiple communities and hereby also lead the group to a high level of employee morale and organizational efficiency
· Attend teams events (planning and review), be available for refinement, and attend any other events vital to the group (e.g. daily stand up and retrospective)
· Collaborate with other Lead Engineers across the LEGO Group in aligning with the user experience and service delivery

Digital Technology Infrastructure is responsible for the Foundational Technology which is fueling the digital transformation of the LEGO group. You will be a part of the Colleague enablement area which consists of 7 product teams. Joining the CE Leadership team will bring you great colleagues who offer sparring, support and a fun workplace, where you can grow as a technology leader.

Colleague enablement is responsible for enabling all our colleague in the LEGO Group with a great collaboration experience, supporting both work from home, from the office or anywhere in fact. We deliver great professional devices, right access, collaboration tools, unified communications, and the right software for our colleagues to fulfil their professional passion.

The Software Enablement team provides our colleagues with relevant, fast and safe software. The team is newly established and joining from the beginning will enable you to help build the team, vision and strategy. The team is currently 5 engineers and 3 external consultants located in Denmark and Hungary

Do you have what it takes?


· You have enterprise experience in enabling software via several OS Platforms like MacOS, iOS, Android and Windows
· You have a deep knowledge of the methods of deploying and handling SaaS software
· You have experience with establishing CI/CD pipelines, preferably within both Commercial-off-the-Shelf and Custom Software
· You have been building and deploying software automation
· You know of automated testing & documentation
· You are familiar with agile and DevOps delivery methods
· You are a great teammate, but also drive your own tasks

Advanced English both written and verbal would be ideal as we are an internationally gathered team.
