Then join a team responsible for architectural decisions, software development, and technology deployment throughout all manufacturing sites. The role is essential in evolving and delivering digital solutions supporting production of amazing LEGO® building toys and brick sets.

Core Responsibilities

As our new Software Engineer, you will build, operate, and maintain robust and scalable Manufacturing Engineering Technology solutions used in factories all over the world.
• Nurture and facilitate a great engineering culture with focus on good craftmanship.
• Explore emerging technologies and methods, seeing opportunities for our platforms.
• DevSecOps: “you build it - you own it” (and run it) with a keen eye on secure code and security by design.
• Enable security and privacy by design in a non-blocking way, throughout the development cycle.
• Mentoring other software engineers and help level-up their understanding of application design and development.

Play your part in our team succeeding

Software Engineering competence group within the global Manufacturing Technology domain. We are delivering software and technology to all manufacturing sites, e.g., mobile and web applications and enables data flow from/to manufacturing and the rest of our supply chain. We are specifically responsible for our Plant Maintenance product, which supports manufacturing sites with maintenance of machinery and equipment and impact more than 9.000 LEGO colleagues. Also, the Site Planning product which support in scheduling production orders and equipment.
We are working in an agile setup in DevOps teams, and in close cooperation with other teams within our domain, Digital in general and business areas.
The team is partly based at the brand-new LEGO Campus in Billund, offering an exciting, inspiring, and flexible work environment – and partly close to the customers.

Do you have what it takes?

The preferred candidate holds an education within digital or technology. You are an experienced software developer in writing modular code that is easy to test, deploy and maintain. And we will like you to have experience within Git/GitHub and CI/CD, and knowledge/interest in modern Cloud technology and infrastructure-as-code. Experience in agile ways of working is expected.
Maybe your technology toolbox contains some of these: C#, Node.JS, Glue, PySpark, Docker, Kubernetes, Serverless, Microservices, Amazon Web Services, API experience.
To succeed in this role, you ideally have competence within the following:
