Core Responsibilities

You will join a team where we create our future mobile platform and the tooling around it. It should be the preferred platform for our colleagues in the LEGO Group when building mobile apps for iOS and Android.

You will play an important role in the full lifecycle of software development; understanding feature requests, development, testing and ensuring that our products are operating as expected in our live production environment.

The Mobile Platform team is one of the pillars of our newly established Digital Platforms department. Our goal is to create and maintain tools and infrastructure that can be reused and shared across all our product domains.

We apply platform engineering and product management practices to ensure we create what brings the most value to our customers (other software engineers) and ensure a close feedback loop.

You will interact and learn from a diverse group of people from all over the world, all with the shared mission of inspiring and developing the builders of tomorrow. We are eager to collaborate and love to share and receive feedback from both our colleagues and customers.

Our team is based at the brand-new LEGO Campus in Billund, offering an exciting, inspiring, and flexible work environment.

Do you have what it takes?

You are curious and see the value in automating operational tasks and are familiar with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) disciplines.

The ideal candidate is passionate about software development and have at least a couple of years professional experience with DevOps or SRE.

Your superpowers will likely include:

• Building and hosting APIs
• Proficient experience with one or more general purpose programming languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, C# etc.
• Working experience with CI/CD in a tool like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI etc.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), could be CDK, Pulumi, Terraform etc.
• Experience with orchestration of cloud computing
• Knowledge with mobile development in Swift, Kotlin, Flutter, React Native etc.

Proficiency in English, written and oral, is required.
