Core Responsibilities

As our new Senior Frontend Engineer you will be part of an engineering team building applications and APIs that will enable our users to work more efficient.

You have a passion for building scalable solutions that enable your users to work efficiently, you are curious in understanding the user, the users need and love co-creating features with your users.

You are a team player that values the dynamics in an autonomous full-featured product team with an end-to-end responsibility and a close collaboration with the business.

• Take part in architecting the applications and building the component library.
• Enable fantastic user experience for both application users and API consumers.
• Participate in reviews and sparring around architecture with other engineers to secure high quality in our solutions
• Help and mentor other developers across teams.
• Participate in frequent user interviews to understand use cases and get fast feedback.

The LEGO Group has a vision for enabling customers, partners, and LEGO® employees to access and collaborate around digital assets and product data easily and securely. We are building a self-service portal where our customers and partners can get the assets and data they need, in a format that suites them.

The Commercial Content area consist of multiple product teams that work closely together. By applying inner-sourcing principles the teams are empowered to deliver complete features without introducing dependencies. We work in full-featured teams and expect all team members to ensure quality by prioritizing code reviews and automated testing.

This position is in Billund where you will be working in the new brand-new LEGO Campus offering an exciting, inspiring, and flexible work environment. We believe in a best of both hybrid working model which will allow you to work from home a couple of days a week if you want to.

Do you have what it takes?

You probably have a degree in Computer Science or related technical field combined with some years of work experience. We will consider and weigh functional experience and academic qualifications at equal terms.

We welcome experience and/or strong interest in the following areas:
• 5+ years of web-dev experience.
• You are a React.js and GraphQL (Apollo/AppSync) hero.
• Experience with security in web-based solutions and APIs is a plus.
• Interest in automating build/deployment pipelines using Github Actions.
• Familiar with agile development process.
