Core Responsibilities


As our new Senior Software Engineer, you will build and innovate digital solutions for Product Engineering Technology in collaboration with end users.

In this position you will join an innovative digital product team that is building the digital foundation for the manufacturing of LEGO® brick Moulds. A team in the early stages, and the team agenda is to strive to establish a landscape focusing through standardized automated and industrialized Insert Manufacturing.

• Be an active member of an agile dedicated product team where you develop, operate, and maintain software solutions.
• Live and continuously grow technical excellence and practices in your daily work.
• Build secure IT solutions based on loosely coupled architecture, API-led integration of all applications based on Domain-Driven Design principles.
• DevSecOps approach “You build it, you run it, you own it”.

The Product Engineering Technology department provides solutions and technology for the engineering areas of the LEGO Group. We support from design to produced elements with areas like Element Design, Mould design, Mould production, Quality and Moulding in the factories impacting more than 4.000 LEGO colleagues.
We are working in an agile setup in DevOps teams, and in close cooperation with other teams within our domain, Digital in general and business areas.
The team is partly based at the brand-new LEGO Campus in Billund, offering an exciting, inspiring, and flexible work environment – and partly close to the customers.

Do you have what it takes?


The preferred candidate holds an education within digital or technology. You are an experienced software developer in writing modular code that is easy to test, deploy and maintain. And we will like you to have experience within Git/GitHub and CI/CD, and knowledge/interest in modern Cloud technology and infrastructure-as-code. Experience in agile ways of working is expected.
Maybe your technology toolbox contains some of these: Java, C#, Node.JS, Docker, Kubernetes, Serverless, Microservices, Amazon Web Services, API experience.
