Core Responsibilities


To accelerate the rate of innovation, we are building a curated Kubernetes platform to help our engineers to adopt containerization smoothly and ensure developer productivity.

The platform spans multiple premises and runs some of our more critical workloads. We are seeing growth of the platform and are looking to shift gears to deliver the best Kubernetes experience for our engineering colleagues.

• Help define and deliver the containerization strategy and vision of the LEGO Group.
• Build a strong engineering community around our cloud trip.
• Define and deliver core Kubernetes capabilities to be consumed by internal product teams.
• Enable product teams to meet business needs by ensuring by building the backlog and prioritizing features.
• Develop a learning mentality and lead the team to success.
• Build solid feedback loops to create data driven decision.

Cloud Transformation is a key priority and an enabler of the digital success of the LEGO Group. The team is centrally placed to provide foundational services for all the group and supports hundreds of teams today.
The team provides a series of core capabilities that enables engineers to be successful in cloud and our DevSecOps journey as well as provide guidance and guardrails for how we build the next generation of digital LEGO services in Cloud.
The team is based at the brand-new LEGO Campus in Billund, offering an exciting, inspiring, and flexible work environment.

Do you have what it takes?


We are looking for a candidate that holds a Cloud Computing Certification (AWS, Azure or GCP) and strong sonority in working with Cloud Computing. Who also is an experienced software developer (Front-end, Back-end or DevSecOps) within enterprise cloud management, and with passion for, and ability to, lead both people and technology? We will like you to have proficient within Git/GitHub and CI/CD, and knowledge/curiosity about modern Cloud technology and tools. Experience in agile ways of working is expected.

Maybe your technology toolbox contains some of these: Java, C#, Node.JS, Docker, Kubernetes, Serverless, Microservices, Amazon Web Services, API experience.

To succeed in this role, you preferably have competence within the following:

• Shown eagerness to continuous learning through your previous experiences.
• Dare to speak up and learn from the failures.
• Flourish with both experimentations and the long haul.
• Dedication to deliver quality code.
• Experience with building feedback loops.

Advanced English both written and verbally are needed since we are an international gathered team.
