Core Responsibilities

Working on our consumer experience tracking platforms, we want you to:
• Make a strong impact on the consumer experience insights data architecture across products and platforms.
• Work closely with our engineers and data architects to mature and scale our event-streaming architecture and data analytics pipeline.
• Take an active role in mentoring junior colleagues on the team.
• Be a point of contact for external / nearshore development partners.

The Consumer Experience Tracking team is part of our Digital Consumer and Creator Technology organization which develops rich web- and app-based consumer experiences across our entire product portfolio. The team delivers full stack web- and app-tracking solutions, from frontend integrations to backend processing and analysis with a strong focus on compliance and privacy.
The teams platform builds upon Snowplow as a central data platform, and utilizes an AWS Lambda, Kinesis, ECS, and CloudFormation infrastructure stack. Frontend integrations are written in JavaScript and C#.NET while the backend services are mainly written in C# and Python.

Do you have what it takes?

With experience working with cloud and serverless technologies, e.g., AWS, Azure, Google, Alicloud, etc. you have:
• Extensive experience as a software developer and architect in agile product teams.
• Experience building and communicating through a cross-team network of architects and product owners.
• Experience with web- and app-tracking technologies.
• Strong understanding of privacy and security requirements in relation to user data.
• Experience in implementing data pipelines and processing of structured data using Kafka, Kinesis, ECS etc.
Experience with Snowplow and a background in data engineering or data analytics would be an advantage.
