Do you stand out from the crowd as a passionate tech champion within the Product Development and Industry 4.0 ecosystem who loves coaching peers and bridging mechanical engineering and IT?

We’re embarking on a game changing journey where you will be a central contributor at the heart of our strategy, overseeing end-to-end architecture and solving exciting technical challenges in collaboration with peers.

Core Responsibilities

We're looking for an inspiring tech champion to join forces with two colleagues who were recently hired into our newly established Principal community. Together with them, the aim of this role is to digitalize and implement real solutions based on modern decoupled software platforms in the cloud.
There will be many exciting things for you to work with, but the core will be to:
1) Collaboratively craft a technical roadmap and technical solution design.
2) Participate in technical decisions on Strategic, Tactical and Operational level by engaging with our senior leaders and product teams.
3) Explore new technologies, methodologies and opportunities outside/in.
4) Build POC's to test and validate theses together with the engineers in the product teams.
5) Drive and contribute to communities across digital (e.g. architecture and principal community) to share knowledge, insights and ideas.
6) Coach and be a sounding board to Software Engineers in various product teams.
Preferred location for this role would be Billund but you could also be based in Copenhagen in our new digital office.

Play your part in our team succeeding

You’ll be part of Omnichannel, Manufacturing & Product Engineering Technologies, where you will meet a group of diverse tech champions who are very passionate about what they do. We believe in hiring for a career in diverse teams as we believe this brings the different perspectives that help us efficiently tackle the toughest challenges.
Joining our technology family means being part of something big and meaningful because we are the technology enablers that ensures we get playful experiences produced and delivered to children and adults around the world. Work life balance and flexibility are embedded within culture which is also centred around great collaboration, flat hierarchies, annual hikes and it’s just a great atmosphere to be part of.

Do you have what it takes?

You are an innovator and engineer by heart and trade. Modern software, cloud technologies, Industry 4.0 and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) are areas where you have a proven track record.

To succeed and thrive in this role, you:

• are not fixed on technology but love learning and adopting the best approach to tackle the challenge at hand.
• are open to new approaches, patient with people and you have excellent interpersonal skills.
• love empowering and coaching others.
• love communicating and coding.

What makes you awesome is that when you speak, people listen and trust your expert opinion. People look up to you and seek to become as skilled as you are. You inspire people to follow you, not by dictating or controlling but due to your skill in your craft.
