Core Responsibilities

Enable our broader business to build state of the art digital solutions by using a solid and secure infrastructure.

• Co-Create our future backup and compute platform consistent of various technologies like Rubrik backup platform, VMware, VxRail, Cloud solutions, Vcenter, and NSX.
• Define, design and implement our backup and restore platform capabilities ensuring agreed RTO and RPO are met.
• Seek and act on information from partners.
• Drives an automation agenda – everything can be automated.

On-Prem Compute is driving automation solutions, implementation, design and develop backup and compute hardware and software systems. This setup is a hybrid on-premises installation and cloud offerings, serving offices, factories and brand retail stores. Ensuring restoring, availability, and protection.
We believe that automation and technology integration is a driver for scalability and performance and therefore challenge status quo by working closely together in teams and with the broader organization. We define policies for using backup and compute clusters including publishing API´s for product teams to consume.
The role will be part of the foundation layer in our infrastructure and will be key to enable our digital journey towards digital ecosystems.

Do you have what it takes?

Passion for backup and compute infrastructure especially virtual environment (servers, hosts etc.) and a couple of years of experience is fundamental here. If you also have a deep interest for technology, and you are eager to drive, learn and get things done, we will be pleased to hear from you.
You will probably have a Bachelor´s degree within IT, maybe Computer Science or Software engineering, but most importantly, you can demonstrate your coding skills, Cloud knowledge, infrastructure knowledge or network understanding.
• Strong interest in the software layer on top of computer hardware, programming and scripting skills, Python, PowerShell, Bash or other is expected.
• Certifications within AWS, AZURE, VMware or similar would be desired.
Naturally, you do not have to be all the above – but you have an edge that includes some of the elements. In the end, it is your personal drive, ambition and ability to learn that makes you special and the right match for us.
As a person, we expect you to be organized, like to interact with various people, and continuously think about how we succeed as a team. Also, to fit into our awesome team, you should naturally bring a positive can-do-mindset.
Advanced English both written and verbally is a need since we are an international gathered team.
