Do you want to bring your tech talent and passion into play by helping the LEGO Group develop our digital engagement with B2B customers?

This is your opportunity to work with new technologies on a tailor made B2B web shop driven by user feedback and business needs. Become part of a big IT community and get the chance to spar with other specialists that share your interest!

Core Responsibilities

As our new Frontend Developer, you will drive the development of our solutions in close collaboration with the rest of the team, consisting of Product Owner, Scrum Master, UX Designer and other Engineers. Moreover, you will:
• Deliver new experiences and iterative improvements to our web shop.
• Participate in code reviews and sparring around architecture with other engineers to secure high quality in our solutions.
• Mainly focus on frontend development, but if you aspire, you will also have the opportunity to work with cloud infrastructure in AWS and/or backend development.

Play your part in our team succeeding

We are an agile and innovative team, working on our B2B web shop and other customer facing experiences. We work with a modern tech stack based on serverless technologies in AWS. Our frontend is based on ES6, React and GraphQL. The backend is a hybrid of both container based and serverless services.
Sharing experience and bringing forth new ideas for improvements are central parts of your role to ensure that we constantly strive to produce the best possible quality in our digital products.
You will be part of the bigger B2B & Retail Technology area that is responsible for a broader range of solutions facing our sales colleagues, B2B customers and partners. We are organized in autonomous product teams, working agile with end-to-end responsibility for our products, and we collaborate closely with the teams that drive the ‘Business to Business’ strategy and its execution for the LEGO Group.

Do you have what it takes?

You have a passion for technology, open source, and are eager to learn new technologies. Ideally, you have a bachelor’s or master’s degree within Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Technology, or a similar related field - plus some years of experience with JavaScript. Familiarity working in an agile setup is expected.
To immediately succeed in this role, you should ideally have:
• Solid understanding of JavaScript
• Proficiency with one or more libraries/frameworks (e.g., React, Angular or Vue).
• Experience with test frameworks.
• Experience with GraphQL is a plus.
• Interest in and flair for great UX in cooperation with designers.
• Attentive to security and performance
Advanced English both written and verbally is a need since we are an international team.
