Come bring your highly skilled cooperation’s ability. The Quality manager works closely with key partners such as Product Owners, Project Leads and Corporate QA to ensure alignment and solid implementation of the QA framework in LEGO® Education.

Core Responsibilities

The role of Quality Manager is to lead the ongoing development and implementation of a QA framework in LEGO Education, incl. QA processes, performance metrics, dashboards, test methodologies, reporting structure and relevant tools/templates. Engage as a heads-on collaborator with quality assurance tasks including working with other QA professionals in different parts of the LEGO Group.

Also, you will understand and operationalize customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes. Defining methods for devising and reviewing specifications for products or processes. Supervise and provide QA mentorship to the Product Owners, the Project Leaders and the Segment Leadership Teams and working closely with the Markets, Customer support and the Insights team to solicit feedback from customers to assess if requirements are met.

The QA manager also functions as team lead for two test managers dedicated to our primary segments and be on a constant lookout for opportunities to improve and develop new efficient processes or procedures.

The Product Experience (PX) group is responsible for the design, engineering, and leadership of LEGO Education’s product portfolio. Our vision is to "build playful, creative, and impactful learning experiences" for children around the world. We achieve this through a fully coordinated approach to the development of educational technology that unifies design, engineering, research, testing, products, and platforms.

Do you have what it takes?

As the successful candidate you bring minimum 5 years’ experience working with QA management in larger organizations, preferably in companies with both R&D and production. Hold a bachelor or master’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent industry experience. Broad knowledge and understanding of common standard methodologies within QA, including experience in working with the V-model and related tools.

To succeed we image the Candidate also have the following proficiencies:

• Expert knowledge of inspection and control methods.
• Domain knowledge from the Edtech industry with a passion for education and learning.
• Experience as team lead for a small team of test managers.
• Relevant QA certification like CQM or similar.
• Experience managing third-party suppliers.

You have experience from an international environment – so of course, advanced English both written and verbally is a must since we work with colleagues and partners globally.
