Come work with us in LEGO Creative Play Lab (CPL). This is at the absolute forefront of play innovation.

Here we work to come up with the play experiences children around the world will be playing with in five years from now. We’re an international organization with offices in four different locations around the world and employees from around the globe.

Core responsibilities

Today we have a number of online systems running to support our physical and digital development efforts, and from time to time they need some tender love and care. The systems are many and different – among others we have JIRA, Confluence, GitLab, Windows AD, Jupyter, Mural and a number of custom web services running. We’re looking for someone who’re interested in lifting the responsibility of making sure these systems run optimally and ensure the right people have access when needed.

Depending on what you’re passionate about, we envision you could work with:
• User administration on the systems
• Installing and updating these systems
• Maintain the cloud servers hosting the systems (a mixture of Linux and Windows)
• Develop new custom components and scripts for the systems
• Develop new shared systems to support the daily work in CPL

Do you have what it takes

We’re looking for a curious person who’re not afraid to take up new challenges.

It will be a huge advantage if you already have some experience with systems maintenance and programming small applications. What programming languages you have experience with is not super important, but it could be something like Python, C# or JavaScript.

Finally, it’s important to us that you have a fair amount of experience with the English language, both written and spoken – as we come from many different countries and English is our working language. You don’t need to be an expert speaker, just enough to feel comfortable.

We hope to fill the position as soon as possible and will evaluate candidates as they apply.
