Core ResponsibilitiesAs a Squad Lead, you will be in the frontline of our agile transformation, by being a role model and change agent for the teams in terms of guiding on how to integrate agile principles into their everyday work. You are the teams trusted partner and have a strong relationship to each team member, so you can guide and support the team through the challenges and opportunities of the everyday life.
You are responsible for facilitating discussions, decision-making and problem-solving in an open and trusting environment and simultaneously empowers them to be self-organizing.
Furthermore, your responsibilities will be to:
• Lead the product team including challenging status quo
• Shield the product team from external disturbances
• Remove impediments for the team
• Facilitate team ceremonies
• Support and be the sparring partner of the Product Owner, Organizational Lead and your fellow Squad Leads globally
Play your part in our team succeedingYou will join a team of 110 dedicated techies in the Global End-User Support Organisation. We strive to provide world class IT support to our colleagues.
As part of our Agile transformation we divided the traditional leadership focus into three roles. The roles are Organizational Lead, Product Owner and Squad Lead and the latter is responsible for the team's working condition, transformation, motivation, and well-being.
Your role as Squad Lead is a key role, as this leader is the closest to the team and hereby have a huge impact on the everyday life of the teams. People in the team however do not report to the Squad Lead, official HR responsibilities sit with the Organizational Lead of the team.
Do you have what it takes?To succeed in this position, you need a strong understanding of and commitment to agile ways of working. As a person, we expect you to demonstrate strong passion for IT and Technology and to be a quick learner focusing on value creation. You hold a Bachelor or Master level degree in IT, Engineering or Business desired. You have advanced English language and excellent communication skills.
Moreover, it will be nice if you have:
• Experience in Scrum and Leadership role
• Exposure to infrastructure areas
• Technical insights to platforms or products like Microsoft O365, Microsoft SCCM, Cisco, SAP or similar
• Familiarity with the Danish organizational culture
