Communication Strategy Intern
Communication Strategy InternAre in your final year of study in the fields of communication, marketing, public relations, social sciences or media?
Then you might be the new intern in the LEGO communication strategy department.We are looking for a dynamic colleague who is a self-starter and has a get-stuff-done attitude.
In the communication strategy team, you will get a chance to work in the engine room where LEGO advertising campaigns are first ideated, stress-tested, planned and executed.
On a day to day basis, we deep-dive into what kids and their parents like, and try to constantly build LEGO love.
We are part of the LEGO Group’s internal advertising agency.
As an intern in our team, you will help the strategists write creative briefs for our campaigns, as well as advertising toolboxes and playbooks.
You will help maintain a global database of campaigns, assets and media channels to enable the company to keep track of the content that is created in the LEGO agency. Using our SharePoint site, you will maintain an overview of the strategy projects covered by the LEGO Agency.
You will conduct ad hoc research on audiences, media channels and products.
You will also be encouraged to work on a project of your own creation for up to 50% of your time.
We expect you to already have the following skills:- Understanding of how to work with communication audiences and find insights around which to build communication strategies;
- An ability to quickly learn new software;
- English at a fluent level;
- In depth mastery of Powerpoint and Excel.
It also helps to have:- Knowledge of a second language;
- Experience publishing a website with SharePoint or a similar platform;
-Experience studying or working in multicultural environments;
- Experience working with media (student newspapers, public social media channels etc.);
- Graphic design skills;
- Experience working with children (in daycares, schools, after school clubs etc).

If you do not have a student compensation via the state (for example SU in Denmark), you can expect to receive sufficient compensation to cover your cost-of-living expenses during your internship.
Unpaid interns can, under certain circumstances, be compensated for their transport/housing expenses.
