RCX Concept In 1998, LEGO® MINDSTORMS® for Schools revolutionised the world of educational robotics with the RCX concept. Today the next generation of MINDSTORMS robots is represented by the LEGO® MINDSTORMS Education NXT concept. Continued Support, Easy Transition LEGO Education continues to support existing users of the LEGO® MINDSTORMS for Schools platform and ROBOLAB™ programming software with inspiration and support until the end of 2009. We are working with a number of partners on initiatives that will enable you to still get the most out of your existing sets while making a gradual transition to the new platform. In this way you can continue to benefit from your current solution and phase out hardware investment over time. Community Website In cooperation with Tufts University’s Center for Engineering Educational Outreach, LEGO Education runs a community website on www.LEGOengineering.com.
